Arthur L. Clements

PETERSBURG, Va. — Arthur Lee Clements, 78, of Petersburg, Va., passed away Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at his residence.

Born in Emporia, Va., he was the son of the late Rufus Arthur and Lucy Story Clements. Mr. Clements retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years of service. He was a member of Carson Ruritan Club. Mr. Clements was preceded in death by a son, Barry Clements.

He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Clements; his daughters, Connie Pillsbury and Cheryl Clements; his sons, Rick Clements and Bryan Clements; his grandchildren, George Pillsbury, Samantha Pillsbury and Cody Engle; and his son-in-law, Craig Hughs.

 A celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 28, at the residence, 15227 Providence Road, Petersburg VA 23805.
