I have lived in Roanoke Rapids my entire  53yrs.Their are a lot of good people here, and a lot of truly rude people here.I was at  one of our  larger dept. stores Sunday (I am diabeled and use one of those electric carts when I go out) The store was pretty crowded like it usually is! Anyhow ,I was comming down one of those isles that has a pole in in it ,and came upon a crowd of people just standing there talking. I sat there  I know for 5 minutes before I finally asked them if they would let me through!  This one smart guy with his pants around his knees told me to go back  the way I came from! I am not a racist, but he made me wish I was in my prime and i would have taught him some manners! It's people like that, that make others want to hate them or call them certain names!!!

" I know you were frustrated and perhaps felt like you were bullied and that should not have happened to you. It is best in this day of violence that you stay calm, consider yourself fortunate that you know right from wrong, unlike the people who blocked the isle, and say a prayer to God for them, that he will have his will and way in their lives. There is too much violence now for you to confront people, consider your safety first. "
