Sometime Thursday, the Democrats in Congress will unveil their “final” health care reform plan.

It is expected to make no one completely happy.

We are reserving final judgement on the plan until it is made public, but there is no doubt health care reform is needed.

If you doubt this, consider the thousands of North Carolina families trying to figure how to pay for treatment  for everyday ailments such as the flu and more serious illnesses such as cancer.

Look at how much more your health insurance is going to cost next year. Then examine the proposal and let the Congress know what you think. It is time the public spoke, not just the special interests.
