I have lived in Roanoke Rapids for all of my life, and I am very upset to see that there is still nothing to do for teenagers here in town. I, being one myself can honstley say it is ridiculous. There are many places that skating rinks, skate parks, or even just a teen hangout could be made and nothing is being done. The Atlantic One is a perfect place for concerts and it never gets used. The people here in Roanoke Rapids are scared of change and I think thats one reason they will not bring big acts that us younger people will go see. The youth are a major part of the world and even this town, but how are you going to keep the youth around if they have to leave to do it?
