The company says in a statement Thursday that it already has shipped more than 7.5 million doses of pandemic vaccine to America and is on target with commitments made to the U.S.

Novartis and other major swine flu vaccine producers have been hit by production delays.

The U.S. has received only about 23 million of the 45 million vaccine doses it had expected from Novartis and other vaccine makers by mid-October.
